I have worked as a therapist since 2001 with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, including social service agencies, school based clinics, community mental health clinics, and in private practice.
I attended New York University and graduated in 2003 with a Master’s degree in Social Work and became licensed as a clinical social worker after completing three years of supervised clinical training. I have also obtained further education while attending the Post Master’s Program in Advanced Clinical Social Work at Hunter College as well as numerous trainings and workshops in other methods of therapy, such as Level 1 in Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal, Psychodynamic, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
As a therapist in private practice I love working with both men and women who present with a broad range of concerns. I particularly welcome women who are dealing with challenges related to pregnancy or postpartum and parenting issues, including depression and anxiety.
